Hevans Scent began with a simple dream: to create the ultimate family experience, which is one-of-a-kind and off the beaten track. After 5 years in operation, that dream has been realised.
a company of firsts
In 2003, Derrick Evans opened Hevans Scent and became the first to bring Zip Lines and the Giant Swing to Jamaica.
Our Zip Lines combine speed and breathtaking views as visitors fly across valleys, some 80 ft in the air. With four Zip Lines in total – including the longest in Jamaica (1200 feet!) – visitors experience something completely different with every jump!
scream out loud fun
The adrenaline-rushes do not stop there - Strap yourself in for the most exhilarating ride of your life on Jamaica’s only 50-foot giant swing! After being harnessed into the seat with two others, you’re hoisted right up to the top, where you pull the ripcord sending you hurtling hundreds of feet across a jaw-dropping valley.
atv adventures
For those with a fear of heights, Hevans Scent soon launched a challenging Quad Bike trail. With miles of interweaving natural tracks, visitors can explore Free Hill’s unspoiled landscape.
Our Quad Bike tracks consist of a practice track, and two off-road tracks. Our 30-minute Tour culminates in a spectacular ocean view over St Ann.
paintball madness
Not content with being the pioneer of Zip Lines and the Giant Swing, H’Evans Scent became the first to bring paintball to Jamaica in 2008. We have since turned Paintball into the island’s fastest growing sport.

fun for the whole family
We cater for all ages when it comes to fun. We have an outdoor adventure playground for our younger visitors complete with trampoline, swings, obstacle course and hedge maze. As we’re completely close-gated, you can leave the kids to run free.
